I'm seeking more information about Michael Eli, my great-great-grandfather, and his relatives. He allegedly had 3 wives, but in 1850 is listed on Christian Co. census as husband of Elizabeth (Beshears), who was daughter of Thomas Beshears and Sally Killebrew. Michael and Elizabeth had a daughter, Rebecca Jane Eli, who married Joseph Allen. On 1850 census Michael Eli, Taliafero Eli, and Thomas Eli reported being born in Tennessee. I don't know the relationship among these men but they are listed adjacently on census. Where in Tennessee did they come from? Who were their parents? Who were Jospeh Allen's parents? How many times have we tried to find the marriate date for Georgia and John Robert? Today I picked up the marriage records for Christian County, KY and here it is. They were married on Dec. 25, 1888 by A. C. Biddle Minister. Witnesses were W. B. Lander and R. D. Reeder.

Now if we could only find her parents!!!
