Springfield, OH passed away October 17, 2009. She was born September 21, 1934 in Olive Hill,
KY, the daughter of the late Haskel &
Sadie (
Ramey)
Griffey. She was a member of the Freewill
Baptist Church and was a member of Elderly United,
Springfield. She is survived by two daughters, Regina & James
Cornett of Piketon, OH and Lisa & Jay
Driver of Englewood, OH; six grandchildren, Jessica, Jason,
Alexis, Amanda, Joshua & Wesley; a great grandson, Talon; brothers, Billy & Lucille
Griffey and Eddie Griffey; sisters, Jewel & Ivan Hicks, Louise
Carter, Nina Mae & Fred
Wilson, twin sister Evaline
Whitman, Donna Sue & Wayne Bailey; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy James; two brothers, Charles & Lou
Arlen, sisters,
Shelby Jean, Eulane & Beatrice. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. October 21, 2009 at the
TROSTEL,
CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, OH with James
Cornett officiating. Visitation will be 11-1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. or the
