Glenis "Ray" Boggs: April 4, 1934-September 23, 2009, passed away at home with family at his bedside. Born in Olive Hill, KY to James F. Boggs and Ethel Lowe BOGGS. He married Donna Frey on December 19, 1953. They had one daughter Linda (Dan) Knisely. He retired from Sears where he was a service repairman. He was a proud member for 42 years of the Noon Optimist Club and Aerie #397, FOE. He enjoyed traveling with his grandchildren and going to auctions. He is survived by his wife and daughter, sisters Immogene (Gilbert) McCombs, Joy (Chris) Rorris, Patty (Charles) Stegall and brother Lonnie (Mary Lou) BOGGS, numerous nephews and nieces. He has three grandchildren Michael (Holly) Knisely, Scott and Jennifer Knisely, one great grandchild Vivian Knisely. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James. F. Boggs, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM September 26, 2009 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London, OH 43140 with Reverend Doug Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Cemetery, Donnellsville, OH. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 PM September 25, 2009. If they wish, memorials may be made to either Universal Hospice, Fremont St. Joseph School, the Noon Optimist Club or Harmony Township Fire Department.
