James Olden, 58, of Princeton, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.
Born Nov. 13, 1953, in Caldwell County, a son of the late James Russell and Berchie Cornelius Olden, he was a Navy veteran and member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son Charles Riley of Princeton; five daughters, Sharon Hopson, DeVona Riley, Jeneen Riley and Tamika Copeland, all of Hopkinsville, and Ashley Riley and husband Patrick of Princeton; 16 grandchildren; five brothers, Donald Olden and wife Marilyn, Ernest Olden and wife Brenda and Bill Russell and wife Ginny, all of Princeton, James Russell of California and Tony Guthrie of Indianapolis, Ind.; three sisters, Mary Jackson Foster of Madisonville, Debra Russell Hollowell of Paducah and Glenda Russell of Hopkinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 27, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Ronnie Spry officiating.
Burial will follow in O’Hara Cemetery. (Caldwell Co., Ky.)
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
