Mrs. Stella Brown, seventy-nine year-old widow of the late Les Brown formerly of Caldwell County and Providence, Ky died of a heart attack Tuesday, August 2, in Henderson Hospital at 9 o'clock.

She was a sister in law to Mrs. Fannie Crider, Providence, Mr. Arthur Brown, Clay and Mrs. Chester Singleton, Nebo, Ky.

Surviving, in addition to her in-laws, are three sons, Beverly Towery, Calif. Russell Towery , Memphis, Tenn., and Jimmie Brown, Mich. two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Wilma) Collier, Henderson, and Mrs. Gene (Opal) McGhel, Mich., ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, at Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. John Hunting officiating. Burial followed in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson

Pall bearers were Marvin Brown, Michael Brown, Mike Adkins, Jim McMullin, David Brown, and Emory Renischles.
