Archie Merrick, 61, of Princeton, died Tuesday, Aug 10, 1999 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky., following a short illness.
A member of Blue Springs Baptist Church, he was born Sept 24, 1937, in Caldwell County, Ky., a son of the late William Thomas Merrick, who died in 1977 and Mary Hazel P'Pool Merrick, who died in 1990.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Mitchell, in 1958.
Survivors include five brothers, Thomas Merrick, Richard Merrick and Randall Merrick, all of Caldwell County, and James Merrick and Don Merrick, both of Graves County, and six sisters, Aline Woods of Trigg County, Pearl Dixon of Henderson, Lillian Hale of Hopkinsville, Ellouise Mitchell of Caldwell County, Katherine Keefer of Richmond, Va., and Linda Harrell of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Funeral services Thursday, Aug 12 at Morgan's Funeral Home with Rev Ron Noffsinger officiating.
Burial in Merrick Cemetery in Caldwell County, Ky.
