Huell Merrick, 85, of Princeton, died Monday, March 10, 2003, at 6:15 p.m. at his home, following a short illness.
A retired nurses aide at the V.A. Hospital, an Army World War Two veteran and member of Second Baptist Church in Princeton, he was born May 13th 1917, in Trigg County, a son of the late Fred and Ella Childress Merrick.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Wilson Merrick; a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Kim Merrick of Mount Vernon, Indiana; a granddaughter, Cara Merrick; a grandson, Brandon Merrick; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 13th, 11:00 a.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Darrell Eldridge officiating, assisted by Dr. Jerrell White.
Burial will follow in Merrick Cemetery in Caldwell County with military services at graveside.
