Robert Merrick, 73, of West Main Street, Princeton, died Sunday, October 25th, at Caldwell County Hospital Emergency Room, following a long illness.
Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, October 28th, at 2:00 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home with the Rev. Leroy Moore officiating.
Burial followed in Merrick Cemetery, Caldwell County, Ky.
Born December 7th 1918, in Trigg County, he was a son of the late Fred and Ella Childress Merrick.
A veteran of World War Two, Mr. Merrick was a worker in a distillery factory. He had lived in Owensboro for about 26 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Ella Ann Corbett of Arlington, Va.; three brothers, Huel Merrick of Princeton, Harper Merrick of Hatfield, Indiana and Morris Merrick of Trigg County; two sisters, Minnie Swatzell of Princeton and Edna Taylor of Trigg County. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
