Naomi Pennington Stone was my GGG Grandmother and was reported to be a Native American. Cassandra Flavillia Stone Baker is her daughter, my GG Grandmother. Her Husband, Henry W. Baker was drownd fording a river so Cassandra moved back in with her Mother to raise her Daughter Nancy Louisa Baker Lane, My G Grandmother. After the Civil War, when Nancy lost her husband (Leander Jackson Lane over in Livingston Co. KY) due to poor health, she came home to live there with Cassandra who raised all 5 or 6 of nancy's children. Henry Lane the oldest may not have moved back with them but may have already been working on a farm in IL. at that time as seen on the 1980 Census. My grandfather was William Thomas Lane the next to oldest of Nancy's children
