Henely Turner, 82, of Talbert passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at the Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. A retired employee of the Kentucky State Highway Department. A member of the Turners Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. The son of the late Talbert and Linda Turner Turner.
Preceded in death by his wife, Mima Hall Turner; one daughter Katlee Turner; and one granddaughter Tisha Turner.
Survivors include three sons James and wife Ollie Turner of Talbert; Mackie and wife Garlene Turner of Butler; Eugene and wife Vonda Turner of Vancleve; three daughters Eva Jean and husband Mose Turner of Bowlings Creek; Brenda and husband Paul Watts; Linda and husband Sam Hall of Alexandria; one brother Roosevelt Turner of Talbert; and one sister Omega and husband Bo Raleigh of Talbert. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 6 at the Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jefferson Turner, Rev. Patrick Turner, and Rev. Albert Little officiating. Burial followed in Alice B. Turner Cemetery at Talbert. Breathitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
