Roy Johnson, age 39 of Hardshell, KY, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2002 due to a short illness. He was the son of Oran Johnson and Helen Landrum. He was a former employee of Addington Coal Company.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Johnson of Hardshell, KY; his parents, Oran Johnson of Hardshell, KY and Helen Landrum of Louisville, KY; one daughter, Stacey Lee Johnson of Hardshell, KY; one son, Roy Lee Johnson, Jr. of Hardshell, KY; one sister, Geneva Johnson of Jackson; one brother, Shane Johnson of Louisville, KY.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eldon Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery located at Hardshell, KY.
