Lowell Thomas Anderson, 72, of Canoe Rd., Jackson, KY passed away Monday, November 24, 2008 of an automobile accident. He was the son of the late Redwine and Sallie Belle Gross Anderson.

Estill Mullins, age 33, of Middletown, OH passed away Wednesday, November 26,2008 at his residence. He was the son of the late Phyllis Mullins.

Green Raleigh, 75, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was born Feb. 23, 1933 in Breathitt County to the late James Raleigh and Charity Turner Raleigh.

Ret. MSG Russell Vorich Gross Sr., 76, of Radcliff, KY passed away Monday, November 24, 2008 at Ireland Army Hospital, Fort Knox, KY.

Albert Herald, age 78, of Newport, KY departed this earthly life on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the St. Luke Hospital. He was born March 3, 1930 at Talbert, KY and was the son of the late Ned and Linda Hall Herald.

Verdie Allen, 56, of Quicksand Rd., Jackson, KY passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at the KY River Medical Center, Jackson. He was the son of the late French Allen.

James Paul Hudson, age 68, of Campbellsville,KY and formerly of Hardshell, KY departed this earthly life on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville of a short illness. He was born November 11,1940 at Hardshell and was the son of the late Pollard and Viola White Hudson.
Dorothy Jean Johnson Ritchie, age 68, of Jackson, KY departed this earthly life on Friday, November 28, 2008 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY of an extended illness. She was born June 7, 1940 in Albion, IL and was the daughter of the late Fredrick Earl and Lucy Ann Bunting Johnson.

Lillie Stamper Sizemore, age 88, of Haddix, KY passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the Nim Henson GeriatricCenter. She was the daughter of the late Rog and Lula Turner Stamper, the widowed wife of Arthur Sizemore.

Geneva Butler Haddix, 79, of Jackson, KY passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Dan and Nannie Trent Butler and the widowed wife of Blackburn Haddix.

Walter Thompson, age 70, of HWY 15 South, Jackson, KY passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 at the KY River Medical Center. He was the son of the late Eli and Serilda Arrowood Thompson.

Silas Miller, 90, passed away Thursday, December 11, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born at Lost Creek to the late Marion and Cordelia Miller.

Della Deaton, 85, passed away Saturday, December 13, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was born February 14, 1923 in Breathitt County to the late Lacy and Lillie Mae Taulbee. She was the widow of the late Robert Taulbee and Walter Deaton.

Omega Raleigh, 71, Talbert passed away Wednesday, December 10, at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson. She was born June 27, 1937 in Breathitt County to the late Talbert and Linda Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Green Raleigh who passed away November 25.

Bobbie Thompson, 63, Troy, Ohio formerly of Breathitt County passed away Sunday, December 14, in Troy, Ohio. He was born April 10, 1945 in Breathitt County to the late Eli and Surilda Thompson.

Hent Sebastian, age 67, passed away Tuesday, December 09, 2008 at Owsley County Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Sherman “Bud” and Martha Herald Sebastian.

Linda Tipton Centers Tipton, age 47, of Kindred Road in Berea, died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Tipton was born in Elyria, Ohio to the late Elmer and Della Mae Clair Centers.

Alma J. Turner, 82, of Georgetown, KY passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ed and Sarah Sebastian, the widow of Mitchell Turner.

Ollie Mae Neace Campbell, 79, of Lost Creek, KY passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Hamon and Vicie Combs Neace.

Mike Taylor, 48, Newport, formerly of Hazard, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Taylor and his grandmother, Cora McDaniel.

Allie Fair Ritchie Fugate, age 74, of Booneville, KY and formerly of Noctor, KY passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 of an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Gabe and Hattie Clemons Ritchie and the widowed wife of Clyde Fugate.

Gary Wayne Gross, age 50, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008 at his residence in Jackson of an extended illness. The son of Everett Bill Haddix, preceded in death by his mother, Carmie Gross Haddix.

Virgie Marie Combs Arrowood, 75, of Jackson, KY passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexingon, KY. She was the daughter of the late Alex and Jalia Gross Combs.
