Yes that is true. I have visited the cemetery - it is grown over with the worst kind of brambles. After Anson died he married Amanda McGlothlin. After Anson died Amanda married James Matthew Klaiber who is my husband's grandfather.
Anson's parents were born in New York. He married Mary Jane in Lawrence County, Ohio. He appears on the 1871 Boyd County Militia list.

There is an entry in the Christian Observer about their son Willy death age 3 y 8 m 20 days Nov 15 1871.
His death was in the Big Sandy news.
Amanda received a pension for his service.
