Debra, have a couple of questions related to Pressley Anderson and James Buchanan. First, was the Pressley Anderson eluded to here a resident of Strode's Station(fort) at one time? Second, I have an old note that states my gggg Grandfather's second marriage was to a Mary (Polly) Buchanan (1767-1852) and lived in Bourbon County, Kentucky. It further denotes that Mary (Polly) Buchanan had a brother James Anderson Buchanan. I have found no record of the marriage in KY. If any of this is connected I would be most interested in exchanging information with you. My Grandfather, John Rice, died in Bourbon County, Kentucky in 1811 and was probably a resident of Strode's Station. Also, I might note that Patrick Donaldson appears to have been at Strode's Station at about the same time--1780 +-.
