Robert Houston KIMBROUGH was born Feb. 4, 1842 in Bourbon Co., Ky and died Nov. 11, 1914 in Hoxbar, Ok. We do not know his parents names but his siblings were: Jack abt 1843; Will abt 1845; Maggie; Molly; Carrie; Mattie; and Ann. Robert Houston KIMBROUGH married Mary Elizabeth Summerville and they lived a while in Cooper Co. Missouri where three children were born, Ellie, Fannie and Martha. We are not sure where H.E. Kimbrough, Carrie, and Birdie were born but Patrick Henry KIMBROUGH, William Bruce, amd Samuel B. were born in Texas and James B. Lucifer KIMBROUGHwas born in Oklahoma. We have the full history of the family from their move to Texas in 1873 but we'd sure love to know of their parents and their early life. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you.

My husbands grandfather was William Bruce Kimbrough, that maried a minte Belle Kelley, William Bruce is in Ada okla cemetery,A Cousin of the family did research in about 1969 and came up with some early history of the family from 1702 about donating land for a Vestry to be buildt aprox 1731 Kimbrough were living in Virginia in the new Kent area Kimbroughs moved to North Carolina as land owners.North Carolina was part of Tennessee at one time This information plus a little more data was gthered by Felix Kimbrough would like to share information with you.Con tact Diane Broadrick at treadleart@sbc global.net
