I need help with my Sherman ancestry in Bourbon County, KY.

John Sherman (or Shearman) lived in Bourbon County and died there in 1809 leaving three small children.
1. William Sherman born circa 1807; moved to Sullivan County, Indiana
2. Mary Sherman born circa 1808 married Theophilus Chowning; moved to Sullivan County, IN, about 1836, living on land given to Mary by Shedrick Sherman
3. Anna Sherman born circa 1909, died 1883 in Missouri, married Henry A Callaway

A relative of John Sherman was Shedrick Sherman of Bourbon County. He was given custody of John's children when John died.

A cousin of my grandfather stated that she visited the Sherman house in Bourbon County where the Sherman's had lived. This cousin died in 1969, near 100 years old. I do not when her visit to Bourbon County occurred.
