I am formerly from Harlan Co,Wallins Creek,left there in the 60's but now in WI,and think i know where Brownies Creek is,that would be on the left going to Pineville?.
Some of the family names i can remember mentioned,Bull,Lee,
Macey,Gilliam?,Womax/Womack,Harrison,Hill,Wilson,Silcox,Malpin,and more i cannot remember.
