Enoch Slusher was my great grandfather. According to my grandmother, Sudie Slusher Mackey (the Suda of 1900 census) his parents were Joe F. Slusher and Linie. Jo(e)hial F(ugate) Slusher b Jan 1843 was the son of Isaac Slusher and Susan Hobbs, married first Sarah ---- and second Linda Howard b 1852. There were 7 children that I know of: Arlie, John R., Enoch N., James Thomas, Sarah, Darius S., and Berry D. I don't know if the first one or two were Sarah's, or if he had other children by her.

Enoch N. Slusher married 3 times: 16 Mar 1890 to Nancy A. Howard; 2 Mar 1893 to Mary Alice Green (b Mar 1873 KY); and 5 Mar 1927 Katheryn "Cassie" Miracle (1885-23 May 1975 in Pontiac, MI). I heard that Enoch died in MI; I will be sending to the state for a death certificate and will let you know what I find out.

Enoch and Mary Alice's children were: Dillard 1894 m Ethie Slusher; Sudie 1897 m William Steve Mackey; Darius 1899 m Amanda Miricle; William Fugate 1904 m Martha Ellen Roark; Bertha Slusher 1907 m P. Miracle; Odell Slusher 1909 m Fannie Hoskins; Maudie May died in infancy; Herman m Patsy Jones; and Robert m Helen.
