George Washington Carmichael, married abt 1875, Louisa A UNKNOWN. Need Louisa's surname. Have found the death cert of daughter Margaret, gave her mother as Lou Sorrell. On Louisa Carmichael's death C, gave her father as Alex McGlothin.
Could someone do a look up in Bath Co, and see if George W Carmichael was married in Bath Co, abt 1875 - 76.

Thanks for looking. George W Carmichael, has been a brick wall from 1870 - 1920. I have four differents surnames for his wife. I'm not ever sure of the number of children he had, as I cannot find him from 1870 until he shown up in Bethel, Bath Co, 1920.

puts George Carmichael among many others in Olympia in the mid 188o's "As residents with unlisted business connections". Also mentioned on that page is B.A.Carmichael.

Thank you. I have Menifee Co, marriages up to 1912, and some of George Carmichael's sibling were married in Menifee Co, but not George W.


I wounder if he could have married in Harrison Co?

I have search page by page 1880 Bath Co, census, George W is not listed, that I found. Nor is he listed in Bath Co in 1900 and 1910.

His daughter Emily J Carmichael married James Warner abt 1900. I am guessing Bath Co, Do you have any info on this?

Darrell Warner's site has Geoge W Carmichael married Lou E Sorrell. I found the death certificate for a daughter of George W Carmichael's and it listed her mother's surname as Sorrell.

When I got the death certificate of George W Carmichael's wife it gave yet another surname. Two other person's have still two other surnames for George W Carmichael's wife.

Now I have four different surnames for who George W Carmichael married.

George W Carmichael married Louisa Henry, the 18 April 1876. He was 21 yrs old, born NC, and parents born NC, residence Menifee Co. Louisa Henry, 16 yrs old, residence Bath Co, born Bath Co, parents born Bath Co.

Not only was I able to get their marriage, but also where Louisa Henry's birth was recorded in early Bath Co births.
She was born 11 Dec 1859, Bath Co, father > Simpson Henry, mother > Margaret Sorrell
