May I ask what state(s) the three counties you mentioned, are located in? I am trying to find the parents of Micahay Dean who married Rhoda Hinson. Believe Micajah died in Fla in 1842. Don't know where he is buried, who his children were except Thaddeus and Mary Ann Dean. Believe his fatherto be Richard Deean, b.? d. possibly Fla. Don't know who he was arried to., or who were his parents. We believe Richards grand father was Micajah Dean who married Cornelia Kuykondall/Cuykondall, of NY. There is much info on the Kuykendall family. They were Dutch. I am looking for Fla./Ga/NC/NJ Dean families.

Just received your response to my earlier mssg on the Dean's.
I cannot say that I recognize the specific names you have listed; I can say however that I am familiar with the Kuydendal (sp) and Hinson names in Kentucky.
Have you tried to connect to the line of Dean's in SC? As you probably know they are about to distribute a new book based on that Dean line. From what I have read on the net, it appears to me that many travelled into Ga and Fla. and of course some continued west as well.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
If there is anything further I can help with, feel free to contact me.
Good luck
Mike Dean

Thankyou for your information. I am surprised and pleased with the information you gave me about the Kuykendall and Hinson families in Ky. I was not aware of this info. Also, I do not know of the book you are referring to. Would you be agle to send me addresses or email address to help me follow up on purchasing the boox (i.e. who is publishing it); Hinson family and Dean family emails.
Thank you so much
E Rousseau Godfrey

Mike, Bath Co. was not formed till 1811 from Montgomery Co.
My GGgrandparents were born in 1806 and 1810. There parents came to Montgomery Co. in 1806, they were on the 1810 census and the county tax rolls, till 1811 then on the Bath Co. rolls and the 1820 census.
My GGGrandfather was Aaron Dicken, my GGGrandmother was Maria Dean. Her mother's name was Nancy and her fathers name was James.
If you have any information on them, Please e-mail me.

Thanks,

Glenn

I am in the same line of Dean's as Glenn. His GGGrandmother Maria Dean (Dicken) & my GGGrandfather James Micheal Dean were siblings. I am interested in any information on their family and their other siblings born btwn 1804-1819 (Joseph, Mary, Margaret Ellen, Deborah, John William). Birth place, marriages, death & burials...
