I have some old family notes that state the following: "Mr Brown Ogden, son of John Ogden, son of James Cal Masterson Ogden, was a friend of Henry Clay, lives at Bandana in Ballard County, Kentucky.......Then James Cal Masterson Ogden moved to Ogden's Landing and built big log house--Henry Clay use to go there to drink and gamble." James Cal Masterson Ogden married Rebecca Rice in 1797 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. Appreciate any and all information on these families and the founding and History of Ogden's landing and Bandana.
