OSCAR SCROGHAM, 77, DIES HERE SUNDAY

Oscar Scrogham, 77, Lawrenceburg, died at the Heritage Nursing home here Sunday.
He was the son of the late Jackson and Polly Durr Scrogham and was a member of the Antioch Christian Church. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sally Taylor Scrogham; two sons, Charles and Wayne, both of Georgia; daughters, Mrs. Alpha Slater, Georgia, Mrs. Clifton Wells, Salvisa; a brothers (sic), Edgar Scrogham, Washington County; a sister, Mrs. Verna Cornelius, Harrodsburg; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Gordon Funeral Home by the Rev. Raymond Sparrow. Burial was in the Lawrenceburg cemetery.
Casketbearers were Donnie, Jackie, Gene Wells, Marland and Garland Scrogham and Keith Arnold.
