Can anyone out there help me find some information on my ggg-grandfather. His name is John C. or John G. Robertson and he had a son named Isaac W. Robertson, who fought in the Civil War. Supposedly, from what family research has shown,Isaac was born in 1841 in Adair Co. KY and married Lucy Ann Fisher. They lived in Polk Co. Missouri.

John Robertson married Mary Ann Bradshaw in KY in 1839. However, the 1850 census shows that Mary Ann lived with her father along with her children and in the 1860 census, she was married to Thomas Tolbert Earnest (Ernst?). What I would like to know are these things about John Robertson:

> What was John's middle name, if he had one? One person said it was G and the other person said it was C.
> Where was John C. or John G. Robertson born at and when?
> What was the name of his father and mother and their date of birth and death?
> I know Robertson is a Scottish name, but does John Robertson have any Indian blood or Indian roots?

I would really appreciate any information on Isaac W. Robertson's father. Thank you.
