Not related, and have no further informatoin:

From: "Notes on Kentucky Veterans Of The War Of 1812," by G. Glenn Clift, published by Borderland Books, Anchorage, Kentucky, 1964. These notes were gathered by the author in the course of research for a book about the River Raisin Massacre January 18-23, 1813, from newspaper files, county pension lists, county histories, cemetery and other local records.

p. 27
"Janes, Thomas. Pvt., Capt. Warfield Shirley's Co., KM, 23 Aug.-8 Oct. 1812; married Ann P. Golloher, in Adair County, 16 Nov. 1849; married first, Elizabeth Biggs. He was WIA at St. Mary's in Sept. or Oct., 1812. He died 12 June 1873 in Adair County. Henry County Pension List."

KM is probably KY Militia; and WIA is probably wounded in action.
