Thanks, for taking the time to reply, You make a good point about Leander and Nancy Coomer, listed on the next page, both born in VA, It looks like Nancy was his first wife or he stated it wrong on his marriage record per Adair Co., Marrage Records:
Leander Coomer Jr. of Adair County, 30 single to Mary Ann Coomer of Adair County, 27, single on 26 of
June 1856 by Leftwich, surety William Bennett.

BTW: here a 1850 Census of Adair Co. on Benj. Coomer.
