Looking for any information on brothers Alexander & Absolom Shannon sons of William & Jemima Shannon born 1797-1799. Also looking for information on Andrew and Francis A. Harsha sons of John Harsha born in KY between 1814-1834.

I am a direct descendant of Alexander Shannon. I can confirm that he was born in Mercer Co, Ky in 1799 and died in Richland Co, WI in 1886. I can help you fill in the family tree from Alex to the present, but I am interested in finding out about his father, William McGowan Shannon. Please reply if you have any information regarding this man.

I also am a direct descendant of Alexander Shannon and his wife Clarissa Curtner. I have not been able to confirm much further back from him, but have several lines down to today. From which of their children do you descend?
