I'm trying to find out the location of a group of apartment buildings where I lived in the late 1940's. I think they were near the north end of N 18th St. I remember that there were several of them parallel to each other, maybe 2 stories high and probably brick. The doors (on the ground floor at least) were on the front of the buildings (no hallways).
There were lots of kids, so the tenants were probably GI's & their families.
There was a factory of some sort that blew a lunch whistle at noon.
Sorry to be so vague, but I was only 4 years old.
Thanks,
Margot
