I have contacted the sisters in Wichita with reference to seeking records for my grandmother who was in an orphanage run by the sisters of St. Joseph in Louisiana. So far I have not been successful in getting them to help me. Has anyone had success with having the sisters look up such records from 1900 through 1918? This is my only way to find out about my grandmother because everyone is deceased who could tell me about her. What other ways would there be for me to obtain these records?Thanks for all your help. bayoucher2
