I have information regarding a John Albert Morgan, b. Mar. 20, 1842 in N.Y.. He was son of
Wm. Morgan & Sarah Sibley. Shortley after the death of his mother he was adopted by a Van Patten family.He was a blacksmith at What Cheer, Iowa @ 1919. His Morgan family lived N.Y.,Michigan,Ill., Nebr. Iowa & Kansas. At least 2 of his half-brothers were in CW. Columbus and William.Columbus was killed and Wm. a prisoner at Andersonvile.
