Has anyone filed for a death certificate through the state of Ks? How hard was is? While reading their website I noticed that Ks does not consider their records a matter of public record.
I am wondering about trying to get a death certif on a woman whom I assume to be my great-great grandmother, in hopes it will show the family link. She died in 1928 and is buried in Fairlawn.
Would Fairlawn have the information on hand? How good are their records from that many years ago?
Any information anyone could give me on Ks Records or Fairlawns records would be greatly appreciated.
