Mrs. Virginia Chavez

Virginia Chavez, 103, 405 West Avenue E, Hutchinson, died Sunday noon at Broadacres after a brief illness. Born June 15, 1864, at Guanajuato, Old Mexico, she was married to Calletono Chavez. He died in 1946. She was a resident of Hutchinson 67 years.

Member: Our Lady of Guadalulpe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson.

Survivors: Son, John, San Diego, Calif.; 30 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the church; Fr. Francis Cox. Burial: Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson. Rosary: 8 p.m. Tuesday, Johnson and Sons Chapel, Hutchinson.
