I have a brief obituary dated in 1878 and it states that Mrs. William Lackey was buried at the graveyard west of Savannah. She died in Havensville. Can anyone tell me what cemetery or cemeteries are located in the area described? I am not sure if she has a tombstone or not but would like to know where I might start to look. Susan Lackey died in childbirth leaving 5 young children. The baby died on Sept 30 1878. The three oldest children stayed with their father but the fourth children either also died or was given to someone else to raise never being reunited with it's siblings. Any assistance would be appreciated.
