PHILLIPSBURG — Majol Thomp on, 68, Phillipsburg, died Saturday, Oct. 21,1995, at her home. Mrs. Thompson was born Majol Pollom on Aug. 18, 1927, at Manhattan and was a Phillipsburg resident since 1952. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church and Chapter BE ; PEG, both of Phillipsburg. She was ;a past president of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and leader of i Bluebird & Campfire and received a Master Angler Award in 1989. Her husband, Dr. Ray, died in 1993
Survivors include three daughters, Amy Gibbs of WaKeeney, Abby Gourley of Sidney, Ohio, and Betsy Frisco of Fountain Valley, Calif.; a brother, Jim Pollom of Topeka; a sister, Lillian "Jean" White of Topeka; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, Pastor Fred Bacon officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg, with PEO services by Chapter BE PEO. Memorials may be made to Hospice Services. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9p.m. today and Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 1115 Second, Phillipsburg ,67661.
