You got me quite rattled about Johanna M last night......
I started to think I was barking up the wrong tree, but then I saw the date of her death, 2 years before the birth I found. So a simple search learned there had been another daughter named Johanna M.
Johanna M traveled by herself, no siblings accompanying her. They would have been listed on the pass. list right with her.
Johanna M did have a brother named Abraham Gerardus. However, he got married in Apeldoorn on 16 June 1877 to Maria Kroon, 5 years after the emigration record you found. And he remarried on 13 Nov 1884 in Amsterdam to Elisabeth Catharina Claassen.
He may have gone to the USA, but then he must have returned.
But there were more than 1 Abraham Gerardus Stuffers' around at that time period.
May I ask how you got to search these Dutch databases?
