Cutler, "History of the State of Kansas", printed by A.T. Andreas, Chicago, IL as being in what was Osage Indian Territory, in 1868, becoming Montgomery County, KS in 1869 where his niece Harriette A. FLORA was born 1869 as one of few white children born there at that early stage of development from Osage Indian Territory. Daniel FLORA is noted in "History of Labette County, Kansas and its Representative Citizens", (portion about John FLORA) ed. & comp. by Hon. Nelson Case.
