I am trying to locate the gravesite of one of my ancestors. His name is Patrick O'Reilly and I know he would of had to of lived in the last half of the 1800's. He was originally born in Ireland, adopted there as well, as a young adult, he immigrated to Canada, and then later moved to Kansas. He worked on the Katy (Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad). Many years ago, a distant relative tracked his gravesite to a cemetery on the northern edge of Parsons, Kansas. From what was told to me, he was living in a town where the Katy went through at the time, and it was going to be called Ladora. However, the town never really developed in the area, so I'm not sure the actual town still exists. If there is any advice or information that would help, I would appreciate. Maybe some lists of government branches in the area who would have records on this would be helpful too. But any help would me appreciated.
