I had a great-uncle by the name of Harvy Hostetter who lived in Holton, Kansas, back from 1920 to 1968 or so. He shows up in Lyon County in the 1920 census. He was a teacher, traveler, and poet. He also turned stones into gems by polishing. I suspect he was pretty well-known in his area. I would like to know more about him and his sons Phillip and Robert. It seems Robert died in 2007 in Holton.
