He had 5 sons- Barry, Bill, Bob, Brian and Ed. He also had a daughter who died when just a few days old. I will work on getting full names and DOBs for you. I have never used this site, just saw your post in a google search. My grandmother (Williams wife) did quite a bit of genealogy work but unfortunately much of it was lost when she past away. I do have a small collection of old portraits and telegrams from the war. Many of them are Unidentified. What is your relation to the Anderson family?

I'm related to Charles and Pearl Bennett that lived in the Tribuine Kansas in the early 1900's. Pearl's maiden name was Folsom. Charles and Pearl were married in Phillips County Kansas. Pearl was the daughter of Mary Jane( Gower) and Richard Sherman Folsom. Richard is buried in Tribuine and Mary Jane is Buried in Kansas City. My father was born on Oct 1, 1932 in Horace, KS to a Minnie Watson (no father lister on the bith certificate). He was adopted by a family member or friend of the family (not sure which), last name Preddy from Lawrence KS. I just started researching this since my fathers death a few years ago. The 1905 census has it as Vanoy and also listed elsewhere as Van Noy. Also living in the same dwelling in 1905 was Lucile Rockwell, 7, and Erma Rockwell, 3, both born in KS. Hope that helps.

Good afternoon. I'm trying to locate an obituary notice for Mr. ALBERT SMITH (I believe he may be Albert E. Smith) who died December 1978 in Tribune, KS (Greeley County, Kansas), and born June 16, 1895. I'm trying to find out his residential address and the name and address of any surviving members of his family.

If an obit is not available I would appreciate it if you could visit the probate court county courthouse in Tribune to see if perhaps there is a probate file available for him that contains his last will and testament, plus there would also be a page in the file showing name and address of the executor and name and address of his heirs, and this is the information I am interested in. You can write it down on a piece of paper or let me know what the copy fee is so I can send you payment to get copies of the entire file.
