Yes, He married Martha Ellen Martin in 1918 in Richmond Mo. area but also lived in Dover Mo. close by. The marriage did not last long because she remarries by 1921. Martha Ellen Martins first husband was Charles Martin and he was known to have shot someone she was involved with and I do not know if it was Ira but she had a son Bradford in 1916 before they got together with Charles Martin.
