My GGG Grandfather and Family was documented in census records between the years of 1850 and 1870 in Iowa Point, Kansas; Rush Island (from a Newspaper Article); White Cloud, Kansas; Troy, Kansas; and in Andrew County Missouri.

I have not been able to find any records except for their marriage record March 7, 1844 in Andrew County Missouri before or after 1844 and 1870.

Can anyone tell me how this area has changed and especially Iowa Point, Andrew County Missouri, and Rush Island over the years. I know that the Missouri River changed directions and would like to know where to look for more records.
