Looking for info on Nellie and Leroy Hammond, who appear in the 1920 census in Sherman, Dickinson, Kansas, with Ross Hammond as head of household. Ross appears in the 1930 census elsewhere, with a new wife and other children. I don't know what happened to Nellie and Leroy, who were 21 and 1 1/2, respectively, in 1920, and I'd be interested in her maiden name, also.

Ross L(e)eroy Hammond registered for the WWI draft in 1917 from Chapman, Kansas, saying he served for 3 1/2 years as a Corporal in the Infantry.
