The Old Fort Genealogical Society Mapleton Cemetery Book lists the following surname BALL:
Avalene A., Benjamin F., Henry C., Nora Phipps, Thomas Edward, William Mark, and William W.
The good news is that your Ball burials may have a stone and just be located somewhere else. Have you tried calling the OFGS in Ft Scott requesting a lookup? They are very helpful 620-223-3300. Only open 1-4PM
