Hello, my name is Kevin Cantrell and I'm trying to find anyone that could help me with a problem I've run into recently. I've been researching the Adams' that moved from Kentucky to Barber County around the early 1880's. Specifically I'm researching my third great grandmother's sister, Minerva "Nerve" Puckett Adams who married William Adams, son of Rev. Johnson Adams (1828-1912).

My problem is that I recently found a picture that is supposed to be Minerva Adams or her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Owens Adams, Rev. Johnson Adams' second wife. I found the contributor page on the Barber County rootsweb site, and it had a few of Elizabeth Owens, and the women in the pictures do share a resemblence. However, I'm uncertain, and am hoping I can find someone related to the Adams' who might be able to help me confirm or deny that it's Grandma Puckett's sister. .
