If you are still looking for the Banks, I ran across some information today that I had not known. I found a marriage record for Thomas Cain Banks and a Mrs. Nannie A. Babcock:

BANKS, THOMAS CAIN BABCOCK, NANNIE A MRS 1887-01-30 00F/0019 00000022 FULTON

They were married in Fulton county, Illinois and apparently Thomas was not her first husband. I have been looking for her first husbands name without success.

I really question the birth date of their daughter Ada as being in 1885 in Kansas, if they were married two years later in Illinois.
