These people settled in Creston in 1873 or 1875.They were immigrants from Germany. They lived at 603 Oak in Creston.The men were upholsterers by trade. This property was purchased from the Burlington Railroad by Adolph and Maria DUNST. The DUNST families were 2 of the original 13 families who built the St. John's United Church of Christ
(St. John's Evangelical and Reform Church). If anyone can help me obtain church records or newspaper clippings (Births,deaths,marriages) I would truely appreciate the help. Sincerely, Lynne Boykin
