I am searching for information about William BUZICK (aka BUSICK), his first wife Elizabeth (WALKER), his second wife Nancy (CONNELL), and his children by these two women. I believe that with Elizabeth his children were Henry Sayers BUZICK b. 1814, Martha Jane (married Lawrence T. FILSON) b. 1824, William C. BUZICK b. 1829, and Mary (married Thomas LAYTON) b. 1832. With Nancy he had the following children: Marquis deLafayette b. 1858, Flavius Josephus “Joe” b. 1859, Francis Marion “Frank” b. 1861, and Allie b. 1863.

William was born in Dorchester, Maryland, in 1793, and died in 1882. He is buried at Woodland Cemetery in Polk County, Iowa. William fought in the War of 1812 with an infantry regiment in Ohio. I believe that William was a Protestant Preacher in Warren County, Iowa, and resided in Carlisle, Iowa. Any information about the BUZICK family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
