Are there any Humphryes descending from William Humphryes 1812-1894 or Henry Humphryes (born 1828) both born England who could tell about their lives in Bonaparte. Any information would be much appreciated i.e., passage (ship name, date) from England to US. I think William travelled on the Washington of Baltimore in 1844 to New Orleans and Henry departed for America 14 Feb 1850 arriving Bonaparte 5 May 1850. Both believed to have travelled as part of British Emigrant Mutual Aid Society - does anyone have details of this organisation?
