OBITUARY
Grace Miller, youngest daughter of Simeon A. and Sarah E. Miller, was born on a farm near Cantril, Iowa, April 11, 1874, and passed away in the hospital at Ottumwa, Ia., Aug. 14, 1922. She was united in marriage to T. A. Rhule at Bloomfield, Iowa, June 5, 1909. They have always lived on the same farm home with the exception of 1 year near Ft. Madison with sister Jennie and one year at Milton. She united with the M. E. church in 1894 during the pastorate of Rev. B. M. Boydson. She was always a lover of church, church people and church work, and next to her home had first place in her life. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge No. 209, Cantril Iowa, and will be greatly missed among her sisters of the order. Mrs. Rhule always had a good word for every one. She was a sufferer for years with but little complaint. Hers was a sunny, cheerful disposition. The hope of recovery from a successful operation was very good, but very suddenly she slipped away as above stated. She leaves huband, three sisters, Mrs. Alice Cripe of Hermosa, Calif.; Mrs. Anna Stewart of Lebanon, Ia.; Mrs. Jennie Douglas of Cantril, Ia.; 13 neices [sic] and nephews.
Funeral services at the M. E. church Cantril, Iowa, Wednesday at 2 p.m. Aug. 16, 1922. Sermon by Rev. Floyd Tennant from the text: At evening time it shall be light. Music by M.E. church choir with Eva Beatty at the piano. Interment in Cantril cemetery.
