John Zmolek
Funeral services for John Zmolek, 63, Morton Grove, Ill., were held Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at St. Marthas Catholic Church with Father Robert Barnell officiating. Interment was at All Saints Cemetery.
Born June 4, 1937, at Clutier, he was the son of Anton and Hilda Zmolek. He attended Toledo High School, graduating in 1955, and Southwest Illinois University.
After serving in the U. S. Air Force, he was married to Patricia Schindler. The couple resided in Morton Grove, where he owned and operated General Video Services. He also was employed by the Worldwide Broadcasting Co.
He died unexpectedly at his home of an aneurysm Monday, Dec. 8, 2000.
Preceding him in death were his father, Anton, and a brother, Anthony.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; son, Michael; son, Drew and wife, Gwyn; three grandchildren; his mother, Hilda Zmolek, Toledo; a brother, Ladd; and sisters, Sr. Monica, Jean, Camille, Carla, Connie, Roberta, Veronica and Michaela. [Traer Star-Clipper; 4 January 2001]
