I have Butterfields in my tree from Wilton! The 1860 census has the following of my family in Wilton:

William C Buttterfield (my GGgrandfather) b. abt 1820 in VT.
Mary R (McElwain) Butterfield (my GGgrandmother) b. at 1820 in VT.

Their children:

William C, b. 1844 in VT
Charles, b. 1850 in VT
George Milton (my Ggrandfather) b. 20 Feb 1857 in Iowa.

I'm digging like crazy to figure out who William C (Sr.)'s parents are. Anyone have any info?
